DART Swimming Heads to Canada for Mel Zajac International Swim Meet

DART attended the Mel Zajac International swim meet in Vancouver, Canada.  The DART (Davis) program took sixteen swimmers, many to their first International meet.   

DART Finalists & Highlights: ·        

Zoe Cosgrove – Finished 9th overall in the 200 Back with her 1st US Summer Nationals Cut·       

Tate Cutler – Finished 3rd in the 18/U Final in the 200 Fly and the 100 Fly ·        

Connor Daniels – Finished 3rd overall in the 800 Free with his 1st 2020 Olympic Trials Cut·         

Sanne Dequine – Finished 5th in the 18/U Final In the 100 Fly ·         

Iz Meraz – Finished 5th in the 18/U Final for the 50 Fly ·         

Julia Miles – Finished 9th in the 18/U Final for the 100 Free ·     

Audrey Portello – Finished 10th in the 18/U Final in the 400 IM·     

Luca Urlando – Finished 1st overall in the 200 Fly with a meet record and 3rd fastest time in the World for 2019·         

Chris Wieser – Finished 1st overall in the 1500 Free and qualified for the 2020 Olympic Trials with his 2nd place finish in the 800 Free·    

DART Swimmers also included Keianna Pineda, Chris Ranlett, Isha Thoreson, Sydney Turner, Izzy Urlando, Mia Van De Heetkamp, and Joe Zales
